Kim is a print-maker and painter who currently lives in New Bedford, MA. When not printing for other artists, Kim experiments with alternate printmaking processes while exploring a variety of subjects. Her most recent works explore scientific visualization and physics, with a specific interest in static electricity and magnetism.
Her painting has been focused on the rocky coast of South Eastern New England and continues to develop her technical skills with the challenges these landscapes provide.
Kim studied printmaking at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, where she earned her BFA, and holds a masters degree from Boston University in Arts Administration. She currently works as a printmaker for both Riverside Art in Somerset, MA and Third Switch Press—her private studio—in New Bedford.
